Domino Web Server API m_pContext->AllocMem truncates the input

Hi,

Please read the below problem with Domino Server API and let us know your response on this.

The Domino API call “AllocMem(m_pContext,strlen(pszLocation) + 20, 0, &iErrID)” shows a peculiar behavior of truncating the last character of the string pszlocation, only for a particular string length (in our case its 69). It retains the value of pszlocation in other cases (i.e. when string length of pszlocation is greater or less than that particular value)

We have the below questions:-

  1. What exactly AllocMem function do?

  2. Why do we need to add an integer value i.e. 20 in the above e.g. with the second parameter to the AllocMem function??

  3. If we remove the above statement server doesn’t functions properly? What could be the reason??

Note: pszlocation is an URL that is getting redirected by domino web server.
