Domino Web Access Warning on Domino 6.5.2

I am getting alot of users complaining about getting this. It is only happening to people accessing our inotes server from external, all internal users can get through fine. It only started happening when we went to 6.5.2 from 6.5.1. Anybody know of a patch or fix for this. Thanks

What to do for DWA Warning:

Here is a list I have compiled from my personal experience dealing with DWA Warnings. Recently, the top two on the list have been what we’ve seen internally to cause more issues. If the computers are indeed external, then I would definitely bank on them having spyware!

  • Disable Pop-Up blocker

  • Clean up spyware (use Spybot and/or AdAware)

  • Clear Browser Cache

  • Delete iNotes class file

  • If one is currently installed, upgrade to the latest Sun JVM

  • Windows Update

  • Load Convert, Fixup, Updall, and Compact against the mailfile

  • Reboot

  • Defrag

  • Run a tool such as Symantec/Norton WinDoctor

I don’t have a solution, but wanted you to know that I’ve had some complaints as well. However, we are on 6.5 with a Hotfix (iNotes related) and haven’t upgraded Domino for a while. I was suspecting a IE service pack on a certain operating system, as it is only some users experiencing. Most of our users are gone away for summer break until next week, so we haven’t had enough calls to better isolate the issue. If I find out more, I’ll let you know. Norma
