I would like to ask this query to the experts. I have successfully installed Domino 6.5 on Redhat Linux 9.0. I have even installed the incremental installer for it. I guess that upgrades the domino 6.5 to 6.5.1Well, the problem is that (1)Domino Web access on this server is very slow compared to the domino server on windows? I don’t understand why?It takes more than 5 minutes to open the web mail.(2) I cannot see the CHAT icon while using iNotes ( Domino web access). i.e. Sametime Integration is not happening.The funny part is that sometimes it comes & sometimes disappears.
I have read the pdf about domino 6.5 web access on linux and followed all the steps mentioned regarding integration of sametime with the DWA server. I have tried copying the “stlinks” from my sametime server onto the DWA server, but the problem seems to persist. Could you pls. suggest a suitable solution to this problem?
My DWA server on linux is located on an internal LAN and a firewall is natting the port 1352 to the internal LAN. Do I have to open any other port on my firewall? Pls. help !
