When viewing an iNotes Calendar by month, all long entries are truncated with trailing ellipses. For example, an entry such as “Important Business Meeting today” would be displayed on the calendar as “Important B…”, and the only way to read the entire entry is to either hover the mouse cursor over the entry (to get the yellow “hint” text) OR to double-click the day and read all the day’s entries in a new window.
Needless to say, this is a very time-consuming and annoying process, because if I’m viewing an entire month, I cannot see the text of all entries at once. What I would like is instead of truncating the entry’s text, the text should wrap around to the next line. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

is this the wrong forum to ask this question?

Also, I think the ellipsis are no longer used starting with the 8.5 radical improvements to the calendar views. Here’s what I see when I hover over a test entry I created with your exact description:
Are you not seeing this?
Subject: re:
That is exactly the problem. You’re viewing an entire month’s worth of information, so the only way to view all of the text is to hover your mouse over every single day. All of the text should just display on the calendar day.
Subject: Not possible today
This is not possible today. Also, rereading this query, it sounds like you are using a pre-8.5 template version of iNotes (as there are no longer any ellipsis that are displayed and more than just the yellow tooltip is displayed…and shown in my prior response).
I’ve forwarded the request to our design team to consider. If we do offer such an option, the cell heights will now get very large for some rows, and less of the month will be visible at once.
Subject: This is not desirable
This even happens in the Notes client. Calendar entries should not get truncated and forcing the user to hover over every item in the calendar is ridiculous. This is a bug in my mind.
Subject: So is there a way to turn off the hover feature on a calender view?
I have an app that uses a calendar view and the hover is sometimes annoying
