Domino Server + Windows 2000 Telnet/FTP

Hi,

I have installed Lotus domino 6 on windows 2000 server. our this server is co-located with some service provider.

SO, i will need to ftp and telnet this server.

so, i just wanted to ask if i install windows 2000 FTP and Telnet then will they disturbe my domino server. as i think windows 2000 ftp will enable IIS as well.

pl. guide me.

Everthing should be OK. However if you are using Domino’s http task, then disable the Microsoft World Wide Web Publishing service that’s included in IIS.

IIS may install a mail services that listens on port 25 too and clashes with domino SMTP. Make sure this isn’t running or mail may break.
