Hi,I have just upgraded a doino 6.5.4 server to 8.5. I have encountered something strange. In the ‘computer management’-> 'services’I have 2 domino services:

Lotus Domino
-
Lotus Domino server (eDominoData)… seems this one is being used.
Any idea?

From Domino Program Directory
ntsvinst.exe -d -t"Lotus Domino"
and you should be fine… The other one is the proper one as you surmised…

So, what’s exactly the problem? The system is not starting because founds two services?
If not, I would just disable the Lotus Domino service and if all goes well, delete it.
Just the other day I had a problem upgrading from 6.5.4 where it didn’t recognize the service and I had to manually add it. Could it be that’s being a while since the service is like that?
