I try to install Domnio 6.5.1 on linux. My first try was on an red hat 9.0 distribution, the install script, domino user, directories permission, etc. just worked fine, but when i try to launch the command “server” or “http httpsetup” as domino user, notes group the only thing that happens was
./java -ss512k -Xoss5M -cp jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jarl …
*Warning all runtime debug info will be logged to …/setuplog.txt
and that`s it.
no terminal, no frontend, even no prompt
After reading most of this forum i figured out that suse would do better on this. So i install suse 9.1, kernel 2.6.5. And after trying some Java enviroment IBMJava2-142 etc. I`m still at the same spot.
Maybe someone can help me ou t of this.
