I am connected to my server. I have a new scenario now. I need to setup the partition servers that i created as additional server under the main domino server which is running now as a standalone server.
1.)In admin app, i registered the mainserver(standalone one) and gave it a new server name adn server title and genrate the .id file for it in a custom location.
2.)Now when i press refresh under all server documents section in admin app, it shows me the new server with its name and title but no FQDN assigned as its registered as main server which is already running.
3.)Now when configuring the partition, i give the .id file of the registered sever from the custom location and try to set up and in the end it shows server not responding.
I also tried the following steps also:
1.)Now that my main server (standalone server) i s already connected to admin app. I started the partition server setup as an additional server.
2.)I gave the server.id file of the existing domino server which is running and connected to admin app and it showed me the server name which is running.
3.)Now when i click next in the last screen i still get the same error as server not responsing though this time the server is running in console as HTTP server started and has FQDN assigned properly.
Based on the above steps where am i missing my my configuration setup for setting up paritions as additional server under a standalone server.
