We are moving from a 64-bit i5 platform (currently 6.5.4) to a 32-bit SUSE Linux server. We are wondering if we will encounter any performance problems with existing databases that are fairly large. I assume the 64GB database size limit is the same on SUSE. Is there also a maximum number of documents that are supported in a database?
Thank you.
Subject: Re: Domino on SUSE Linux
The performance of Domino on the SUSE Linux Server vs. IBM i in terms of Database performance is hard to gauge without an in-depth review/comparison. If the SUSE Linux Server is on an IBM product, perhaps the IBM Workload Estimator would provide you with a better comparison between the 2 platforms:

The maximum # of documents in a Database is limited by the Operating System File Size limit of 64GB.
