The spam Rules and DNS Blacklist servers we’ve built into our server document configurations don’t seem to work on a Linux Red Hat 7.2 server. They work properly on Intel boxes with 6.0x versions, but our testing with RH 7.2 and Domino 60.2CF1 seem to ignore the settings.
Blacklisting has always worked reliably for me, with ND6.x on RH8.0. But last week I had to remove the easynet blacklist, and after I saved the config document, all incoming messages were blocked! To solve this, I set blacklisting to ‘log and tag’ instead of ‘log and deny’, then restarted the router and SMTP task, but to no avail - not a single message got through. Finally I had to disable blacklisting completely, and reboot the server in order to get mail messages to be delivered. I’m going to try to enable it again, but am going to watch the server closely!
