I have a Domino Server running on AS400. I need to modify some thinks, so I need to stop the backup. The backup is the regular SAV, where in the night it stops the server, back-it up, and bring the srever up again.
I can’t remember hot to stop this CL, so If someone can help me it will be great.
I’m on my way to the site right now, and I will be able to check this site again in 2 hours. So if someone have any question, it will take a while for me to answer, but I will.
Haven’t worked on an iSeries for a few years so below is from memory:
On command line and pref. from the console:“Go SAVE” and you should see all the menu items for the backup system the iSeries has.
If it’s a homemade backup I guess it’s running via the job-scheduler. On a command line: “WRKJOBSCDE”. Try to find the program that runs the backup and disable it. When your work is done you can enable it again and tell it to run now to ensure the backup is done.
Not sure if the “wrkjobscde” is correct so if it fails with a command unknown error try to do a wrkjobs? which should give you a list of all valid commands.
