We are looking at running Domino on a SAN. Has anybody done this? Do we need to partition the servers?

Not sure this is what you’re looking for, but…
We run Domino code on local drives with the data (mail) on an IBM Shark. Not sure of the config there, but I know it’s close. I can tell you if the SAN disks go away, Domino will continue whistling as it doesn’t have a clue that it’s about to crash real hard. Eventually, the cache catches up, and memory blows up in a most spectacular manner. We use Trans logging, and (to Gods ears) haven’t had a total rebuild outage, but fun was had by all.
Typically we have had to reboot, then set config server_restricted=1 so that the client community is held back until the db’s have a chance to rebuild. We have lost single databases, but nothing earth shattering.

I don’t know why IBM included it the website, but it shows all the posts to a topic of your choice.
