I have heard a wisper from some people in our office who are anti notes that IBM has droped Domino/Notes for MS Exchange/Outlook internally.
Is this true? I cannot belive it…
Does anyone know the truth?

Subject: Domino/Notes question?
Come on.
Subject: RE: Domino/Notes question?
I know, but just wanted to have a liitle proof to throw back at them
Subject: RE: Domino/Notes question?
A little proof! Proof of what? That would be like me saying MS is dropping all their Intel servers and moving to IBM AIX. Now go prove me wrong. What type of person would possibly believe IBM is going to Exchange?
If you want an official quote, here you go:
Alan Lepofsky, Senior Marketing Manager for Lotus Workplace Products states “IBM is clearly committed to the Lotus brand. With well over 300,000 current Lotus Notes users (many using Domino Web Access on Linux) IBM is one of the largest and most robust Domino shops in the world”.
I had a meeting two weeks ago with the IBM CTO office to discuss Notes and Domino 7 testing plans… so that is a pretty official “no” for you.

I think someone is pulling your leg Robert. But did you know Microsoft is abandoning Visual Basic and is going to use Lotusscript instead?
Subject: Domino/Notes question?
“Does anyone know the truth?”
Quite a few people think they know the truth. Usama Bin Laden and Paul Krugman are the first two to come to mind.
