We are running Domino R5 mail server now used for mailing only , We are planning for domino 8.5 new installation next week , the scenario is as follows ,
The present R5 mail server will be used as old mail archive server with old user database link in workspase in new client (As the users are only 40 im thinking of copying the present nsf files directly to their workspace).
A new domino 8.5 installation and fresh mail , but will need old contacts directories from R5 and all users to be recreated to new mail server .
We dont want to migrate the old server as its old hardware and more over migration route is complicated from R5. i need to know about how to transfer the contacts data base to the new 8.5 and other things which i may not be thinking … thank you.,.
