OK…I’ve had it. I am not a Domino guru. Never even looked at Notes/Domino until a short while ago. I am trying to get HTTPS working as well as iNotes. When I access my mail via IE I am redirected to the SSL port (this is good). I edited my person document to force me to change my password the next time on log on (this happens) but adminp fails. The following lines are what I see in my log. Please note, Domino 6.0.1 CF1 runs on a Windows 2000 machine in a DMZ. My feeling is that the unique setup of the server is my problem. Can someone give me a hand with this one?
06/12/2003 03:18:58 PM HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [removed IP address], Keyring [srvrkeyfile.kyr], [SSL Error: Network IO error], code [4165]
06/12/2003 03:18:00 PM Admin Process: Received the following error performing a Change HTTP Password in Domino Directory request on ‘username’/STEMC (File name: STENOTES/STEMC!!names.nsf): The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists.
Also, I am not entirely clear on the process of creating key rings etc. I think the documentation is a bit confusing although I have 0 experience in this stuff anyway!
