I am trying to create a notes mail database that gets all mail addressed to @domainB. Currently all the notes users are located just on one Domino server and one domain @domainA.
I have created a Foreign Domain document, Created a mail in document and created the mail-in database which is just a notes mail database.
But when I test sending an email from the notes users, with 1234@domainB. I get an rejection with the message.
No route found to domain domainB from server current/Domino/Server/domainA. Check Server, Connection and Domain documents in the Domino Directory.
Subject: You want a non adjacent domain doc
Subject: Changed it and still the same error
Subject: Ooops
Sorry you where right. It is a foregign domain doc. Did you specify the server name and mail db name correctly?
Is the server in the same Notes Named Network? If not you need to setup a connection doc to that server.
If all looks alright in the names.nsf I would stop and start the router so all routing informations caches correctly.

Subject: Now I have a differet error
When I email ABC@domainBNow the error is User ABC not listed in Domino Directory.
I want it to ignore anything before the @ and redirect that to the mail-in mail database if the domain is @domainB.
Subject: Question
Is the foreign domain docs for domainB domain on the same server?
Are there servers in the domainb domain?
With just the foreign domain doc and no server listed as being in domainb the emails should just route into the mail file listed on the foreign domain doc and just stay there and not try and resolve to names.nsf
Subject: There is no servers
There is no servers in the domainB.
domainA and domainB are both the same servers.
When I enter the server name into the Gateway server name field in the Domain document, I get the user not listed in Domino Directory
If I removed the server name entry, I get no route found to domain domainB. error
Subject: HUH
So the server name is the canonical name and is the same server you are dropping the email on.
You created a mail file for the domain?
try doing a updall on nab and drop and start router.
youooked at this tech note http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21094558
Subject: More info
The server name is current/server/domainA.
This server holds the 2 domain. domainA and domainB.
This server holds all the user notes mail and as well as the mail-in database that was created using the mail template.

There are only 4 fields you need to fill out on the form

Delete the doc and recreate. Don’t specify allow and deny domains.
