We have two (R6.5.1) Domino servers in own Domino domain. Those servers are just Notes application servers, there are not any mail users on those servers.
We have another domain, where we have most of the servers and mailusers. Now we want to merge those two application servers into that same domain where we have most of the servers and our mailusers. What is the best way to change those two servers domain? We want to keep same server names, we just change the domain (and hierarchy).
For example:
Server1/domain1
Server2/domain1
Server1/domain2
Server2/domain2
Those servers are in Domino cluster.
We have done it like this:

Both domains certifiers are already cross certified between each others.

We have registered new server to domain2 with same name than in domain1. Then domain1 serverid replaced with new serverid. Also Domino Directory and admin4.nsf replicated from domain2 to domain1. Old Domino Directory and admin4.nsf has renamed.
Server is working normally. Of course, there is manual work with scheduled agents, admin server names in ACLs, mail-in databases…
But problem is database icons on users workspace. They have used databases from Server1/domain1. But after server has changed, icons does not work any more, those should be opened from server Server1/domain2.
I tried to make two connection document to personal address book like this:

server1/domain1 with TCPIP and server’s ip-address

server1/domain2 with TCPIP and server’s ip-address (same ip-address as connetion 1)
Icons started to work some how, but there is still something weird are those opening or not.
Any tips or ideas how to get icons work?
