Domino Directory has "Replication or Save conflict" for new users

Has anyone else been having issues with Replication or Save conflicts in the Domino directory after setting up new users?

If so, how have you worked around the issue?

My scenario is this:

  1. Create a new user, store USER.ID in Directory.

  2. Client is set up for new user, pulls (detaches) USER.ID from User’s server.

3)User setup complete, password & ID Backup info is sent to Admin server for Domain, AdminP sets Password Digest field. (on Admin Server)

  1. Admin server for Domino Directory replicates with user’s mail server, creates Replication or Save conflict.

I typically just end up deleting the replication conflict document, and delete the user ID from the ‘original’ document and go on with my life.

But it is frustrating, and it seems like the Admin process should be smart enough not to cause this to happen.
