All,
I followed the winehq’s howtos, and googled a lot, but Designer is not working for me with the latest Wine under Debian Linux 5.0 (stable). Installer is dropping exception, so I copied my Notes files to ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/lotus/notes folder.
I ran the designer, and the client too, both of them opens, trying to connect to a domino server and then nothing happens. I get error messages in the console which says something like “the window is used by another process” or something like that… There is no another Wine or Notes running onthe system. Reboot not helped at all. Of course I copied the two DLL to the Windows system folder. it’s still the same.
I have Windows XP Hun Prof SP3 + Lotus Notes 8.0.2(upgraded from 6.5.3)
What should I do as next step?
I can show the console messages tomorrow, but it’s not so informative.
Do you have any idea?
