Domino/DB2 (NSFDB2) default user mapping question

Hi,

I have two Domino/DB2 servers and I have to setup a “DB2 Default User” for both of them.

I know I have to go into the Administrator client and select “Edit DB2 Default User” and all the steps required.

Can I use the same OS account (and “DB2 Default User”) for both servers? Right now, I’m using “DB2DEFAULT” as my username for both servers and it seems to work.

I was just wondering if it’s the recommended way to do this… or should I use two distinct usernames, one for each server?

Is there any advantage of using one over the other?
