for security reasons (PCI) I was forced to move some mailboxes into an encFS-Container.
We are working with a Domino 8.5.3 Server on Linux CentOS 5.
Normal access to the databases works well, but it seems to be impossible to put a full-text-index on them.
Indexer creates a dbname.ft directory and fills it with some subdirectories. If you open a mail-db with a client and open the search bar there is a green sign and it appears to be full-text- indext.
But if you do a search you get an error message “Fulltext Index not found”.
Has anybody experience in using encrypted containers with domino databases?
Any help is appreciated.
