DOMINO Console visible for limited user

Hi Friends,

This is vrajesh Newbie to Lotus domino,

While Doing some R&D with domino 7 in my standalone PC ,i notice that the following issue after doing some sequence of action

  1. Started domino as service from services.msc from a Administrator (OS)login account.Console is visible

2.Logged off Administrator(Domino still running).

3.Logged in a limited user account.

  1. Found the domino console is VISIBLE.(Even though it is a limited account)

  2. Able to put ‘Q’ in the console also

If that is the case is there any reason that IBM has designed so or its a BUG?Isn’t it a security issue?

Please correct me if i am wrong and clear my doubts

Security issue? No – nobody should have physical access to the server machine who isn’t authorised to touch the server. You’re worried about someone typing a Q when they could just as easily press the power button?
