Domino configuration in DMZ

Hi, we are thinking at installing Domino and I would like answer to some of the questions I have.

We are currently at an installation of 2 Domino servers. One on our DMZ zone for internet with the task smtp and pop3, one wich will have our mail file on our intranet.

  1. Will a user have access by pop3 to his e-mails that are on the intranet server?

  2. Is it possible for an iNotes user to connect to the passthru to have access to his e-mails?

This may be too simple for you, but . . 1) Yes, as long as you load the POP task on that server.

  1. Sure, use the Domino Web Access Redirect template, create a DB based on it, configure it according to the documentation, and there you go.
