Hello Everyone,I am currently dealing with Resource Reservation Database. Actually There was a resource reservation database but I have deleted it and created a new one by using resrc8.ntf template.
I have also created site and new resource. I also see mail-driven databases for newly created rooms.
So everything is working well except for “Find available rooms” function in Notes Client.
When I create new meeting invitation , I pick up the meeting date and time and then click on “Find available rooms”, Notes does not find available rooms while they are available rooms for that period.
I have also tried to create reservation record directly on Reservation database instead of from my inbox. Same problem also happens there.
Do you have any idea why domino doesnt find a room ?
Thanks in advance.
Subject: busytime.nsf
I think your busytime.nsf does not yet contain your new added resource(s). They are added typically at 2 AM. If you are restarting the rnrmgr task they will be added, too. Type “restart task rnrmgr” and look on the busytime.nsf in the root directory of domino data. The resource name(s) have to be added there. If they are not the freetime lookup does not work.
Subject: There is no records in busytime.nsf for added rooms
Hello Ralf,First of all , thank you for your response. As you think, there was no records for added rooms. So I ran “restart task rnrmgr” on the server.Unfortunately result is the same, No record has been created for rooms in busytime.nsf. I dont know that Why new record has not been created. Is there any way to create busytime doc manually or Do you have any suggestion ?
Thanks a lot
Subject: Problem solved
I found the problem.Actually problem is about filename of reservation database. I had given abc.nsf as file name during creation of the database. I also defined site and resource when the name of the file was still abc.nsf.
Before creating busytimes for new resources was created by system, I changed the name of the resource database to cba.nsf. Because database name in mail-in resources was still abc.nsf . No busytime records were created. Therefore all rooms were seeming unavailable.
Finally, I have updated mail-in resource documents with new filename. Now everything is working well.
