Where can we download the new Domino Blog template available in release 7.0.2?
I have downloaded the 7.0.2 Notes client (PC) and this template is not included with the other templates at the client level. Must I download and set up a 7.0.2 Domino server in order to get this template?
Is it possible to download and use this template on a 6.5.4 server? Or are there design components that will not function properly on a slightly older server build?

The template is part of the server, and I don’t think you can extract just the template from the setup files so you will have to install at least one server to get the template. If memory serves me correctly, according to the template’s author it should work in Domino 6.0 or higher.

It’s possible to customize the options on the Domino 7.0.2 server install so that you only get the templates installed but no server code. This a method we used internally at IBM in order to get the Domino Blog template. (Didn’t want to install a full server onto a particular system.)

Thank you for the comments. I’ll try doing that, custom install of the server to just expose the templates.
