Domino/blackberry calendaring

Hi All,

I’m not sure if this right place to post this message as it involves 2 apps, as either app might be causing the problem - blackberry and domino 8.5.

Now we so far have a domino 8.5 setup with only 5 users on it. All these 5 users have blackberries (8110) and for some reason when they receive calendar meeting invites from users who are on a domino 7X servers, the format or calendar entry is not fully displayed on there blackberry. All the meeting info is missing and there is no calendar options to accept. It only displays one line of the calendar invite.

We are running Domino BES.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

You can move the user to the 8.5 server but do not update their email design. As the first step to resolve this issues.

  1. Check to see if you can upgrade your BES server to the latest version that support 8.5.

  2. You will need to upgrade the OS on your blackberry as well.

Last, upgrade one user design or mail template for testing.
