Hello,
I have some users with the Domino Access for MS Outlook connector.
Most of the users that have this connector doesn´t send or recieve mails.
I went to my Domino server to the option of status, notes users, And this users that are having this problems doesn´t appear connected. The users that appears connected and have the connector don´t have this trouble.
Is there a limit for this way of connection?
or why if the connector seems on the client to work ok ( no errors ) don´t really connect to my server?
I appreciate any comments to help me solve this problem.
Thank you.
Regards.

Domino Outlook Access is using Lotus Notes replication to get mail.Can you connect with Lotus Notes client from the same PC?
Can you ‘telnet 1352’ from the same PC?
Can you ping by hostname only (don’t use full domain name - ie. ‘server’ not ‘server.domain.net’) from the same PC.

Hi,
Thank for answered.
Yes If I install lotus client on the same pc this is able to get mails.
The mails are replicated via NRPC with this conector by por 1352, the service that replicates is named nwrdaemn.exe and in the pcs that the connector is not working this server in not on, and if I started manually it still not working.
any ideas?
thx

The Domino Access connector for Outlook has its own address book and Notes.ini file. So if you’re checking connectivity from the Notes client it’s not really a valid test.
I assume you’re using the Lotus version of the connector so it is normally installed to the ‘C:\Program Files\DominoForOutlook’ folder.
Using your Notes client open the Address Book (names.nsf) in the above folder and create the required connection documents. Also check the Location document (created when installing the connector) and make sure the settings in it appear correct.
Rebuild the views in the address book by holding down the ‘Ctrl + Shift + F9’ keys simultaneously.
You can add some settings to the Notes.ini file located in the above folder as well. These are:
-
REPL_PST_FORCE_SUBMIT=1
-
REPL_PST_DEBUG=1
-
CONSOLE_LOG_ENABLED=1
The first setting ensure a full replication is done upon each synch. The other two settings create log files which you can review to troubleshoot.
Hope this helps.
