Hello,in the last weeks we have some performance problems with our main domino server (v8.5.1 on windows server 2003 64 bit):
Sometimes npop3.exe keeps the cpu busy for about a minute and during that period its cpu usage goes up to 90%, almost freezing all other tasks.
In the domino console a pop3 error message says that “is unable to obtain exclusive access to maildrop” for some users.
Any tips?
Reading some documentation i think that it’s for the huge amount of unread-marked message in pop3 database users, but seems quite strange because in previous months we never had this problem.
