DOMINO 8.01 Time Issue - Not a Priority for IBM

It seems that the issue with Domino 8.01 Time Staying in Synch on a Windows Server is not a high priority with them to fix.==============================================

My users are fed up with the fact that the Email Time is off due to Domino. My server OS time is fine on Windows 2003 Server. But the Domino time keeps jumping ahead.

==============================================

A temp fix is to restart the server…in a couple days though it gets back out of whack again.

===============================================

A possible fix is to re-install 8.01 on top of it again…sorry this didn’t fix either of my clustered mail servers.

===============================================

I have called Passport Support which is aware of the problem but they say it will not be in in 8.02 nor is there a plan for a Fix Pack.

This is really lousy of IBM. And this should be a higher priority as I see others are having the same problem.

IBM Response:

We are aware of the issue and have an SPR DBRH7FRQ6R opened for this issue. Development has not resolved the issue as of today and there is no ETA.

Subject: Reponse

This issue definitely is a priority for IBM. We are actively working on trying to determine the root cause of the problem and we will issue a fix for it once it is determined. If you would like to be a part of the determination process, there is debug available that we can give you that will help us in determining the root cause of this issue. To obtain this debug information and work with us directly, please open a PMR with our support teams. If you already have a PMR open with our support teams, please email me at jon_reingold@us.ibm.com.

Subject: Time creep HF?

Hi,I have reported this to IBM,go reply quite quickly

After installing 801HF552 the problem seems to be resolved. The time was drifting quite significantly, 5-10 minutes in 2 hours into the future.

I have also seen some attempts to diagnose/fix this here
