Our Domino server running on an i520 has had (version 7.x and version 8.x) intermittent issues with transaction logging, specifically on a server restart (after fault). The logasio and fileret tasks would come up on i5 console then server would try its best… only to crash several times and stop. How did I fix? …edit notes.ini and disable trans. logging. Trans. logging is not running at at all now… we have been unable to figure out why it is having issues with BRMS. We disabled tlogs weeks ago and then last week at ~9AM EST we had a crash. I could only see a bunch of HTTP exceptions in the log and these seem to be from missing design elements or people accessing old bookmarks, etc. We see these every day… just wondering if there is an issue with 8.0.1 and HTTP causing memory leak? Any ideas? Trying to determine the best way to tackle the problem determination on this one… thanks team.
Is it an HTTP buffer issue maybe? …all these requests are eating away at the buffer. Maybe this could be increased to handle # of requests or disabled so most of these bad requests are cached at all? …thoughts? Thanks in advance…
