Domino 6 on HP Netserver LD Pro

I have been attempting to install Domino 6 on an HP LD Pro, dual PII/200 processors, 1GB RAM and 35GB HDD. The install runs fine, then when finished a DOS window opens and scrolls numerous messages and I’m not sure what they mean. “Language id:xxx in key 2_xxx_name is not found under[languages]” where xxx=several different numbers. After the messages are done scrolling, the box closes and then I get the message saying that I have successfully finished installing Domino 6. When I try to start the server to launch the server set-up procedure, it never starts. And if I try to open the notes client using nlnotes.exe I get an error saying "Unable to open the Domino Server setup database. Setup cannot continue."I can install and setup v.5.0.12 with no problems, it’s only release 6 that causes this.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem… (But on Compact Proliant)

Peter,No, I never did. In fact, I just gave up on it and went on to using an LC2000 that had recently been retired.

Thanks for the answer.My workaround was:

-install 5.011 first

  • run the setup

-install 6.02CF1

voila…

That did the trick…
