Current Domino Server version: 5.0.5Planned Domino Server version: 6.5
I would like to format my server and do a clean install on my server. Is there a tool that converts the old database version to the new one? Also, any suggestions as to the steps I should take? Thanks.

To convert the old database version to the new one use the command “load compact” or in DOS use the command ncompact.exe(Lotus/Domino/)

That would only be for the database, how about the user accounts and the groups?

Have you read over the help file on how to do an upgrade?
This forum has gone over the topic many times and the help file and release notes do provide a good guide to follow.
Secondly, without you reading the helpfile you would be able to make some pivotal decision with many of the new features in R6 and R6.5.
If you are nervous, then make a test server and experiment there.
