Domino 6.0 Server Error Message-Help

Hi,I am getting an error message “Server Exiting: Couldn’t open the ID file.”(This is in the test environment.)while starting a server.

( I checked that the ID file is very much in the data directory only)

Could anyone let me know how to resolve this problem.

Perhaps the notes.ini is not correct. Ensure that the server notes.ini has these parameters set to point to the correct ID file:KeyFilename=XXXXXX.id

ServerKeyFileName=XXXXXX.id

I also suffered this error message and now the server just gives me the message of “Server Exiting: Partition C.Lotus.Domino is already in use”.

Understand that I did NOT install it as a partitioned server.

I did also check the notes.ini and the file is correctly stated in the file and in the proper location in the file system.
