Thanksx for all of the pointers to the MU’s released today but…
Does anyone have an idea when the iSeries code will be released?
We are in dire need of Roaming User support, and it’s hard to explain to our adminstration why we can’t do this when the code to fix it was released today.

iSeries is never released at the same time as the Win32/UNIX platforms, it always lags by a reasonably short period of time.
Why did you not explain that to your administration, that all platforms are not released at the same time ?

It’s a given that the iSeries versions are typically released at a later date but does anyone know what the average lag time is? For example, is it typically a week, 2 weeks, a month?

Hi,
For the 6 release, i heard that it was to be posted in the web one month after the release date of other platforms. And it was released the 10/17/2002 (…a little more than one month).
I think the great Notes/Domino MR/MU status is missing for specific iSeries platform.
And, some historical document of detailed phasis date of each upgrade version would be greatly appreciated…

For Maintenance Releases (MRs), Domino for iSeries English downloads typically lag other Domino platforms by 7 days. For major new Releases, e.g., R5 and 6, it is typically longer, 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, 6.0.1 will not follow the typical 7 day lag time as prior R5 MR downloads. We expect to make it available later next week. We also plan to shorten this lag time in future MRs.
However, regarding CD deliveries, with 5.0.12 and 6.0.1, you should begin seeing iSeries versions show up in the same subscription kits as the other platforms.
