I went into my location document and changed my “Internet mail address” to mickeymouse@disney.com (and some other bogus names) for testing purposes. I was able to send mail from Notes to my hotmail account as mickey. How can I set up the Domain so that if users do something like this to their location documents, their outgoing messages will still be uname@organization.com?
All our Person documents have Basics tab, Internet address set correctly (uname@organization.com).
We only have one Domino server and one domain. Under Restrictions tab, I changed it from blank to organization.com. Under Conversions tab, “Local primary Internet domain” is organization.com. Under “Alternate Internet domain aliases”, we have our fully qualified address. Under “Internet Address Lookup”, we have Disabled.
We just want to make sure our users don’t edit their Location documents, put in some bogus address, and be able to send messages out with that bogus address.
