We want to have offline dols subscriptions. Users will connect via a 3G modem to an ADSL line to access a Domino sever. Synchronization will be scheduled. Is there a way to have the 3G network connection auto invoked by the Sync Manager when the scheduled sync runs? With Notes Client replication this can be done by creating a “Network Dialup” connection which is invoked in the background and disconnects after replication - can the same be done for DOLS?

Subject: You might be able to do this with a custom dolnames.nsf
Search the technotes. There is a way to create a custome dolnames.nsf that will have connection documents, etc. in it. I would bet that would solve your problem.
