Does SearchSite database search the PDF attachments?

Hi All,

I have set up a searchsite database on R6 server on linux. The searchsite is configured to search 8 databases. The configuration is set to search attachments as well. The search works well but there are two constraints that I can’t seem to get over.

1)I can’t get the search results to be filtered and going through the forum I gathered probably its not possible but there is no confirmation.

2)PDF attachments are not searched. (when in the individual databases properties the Type is set to standard, the pdf search happens but the moment its set to “Multi DB search”, no pdf search happens).

On your second point, try Domain Indexing instead of Multi Database indexing.

On your first point, I don’t know what you mean by “:get search results filtered.”
