Does Domino Server support RFC2696 (Simple Paged LDAP Results)

Hi,

does any version of Domino Server support RFC2696 (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2696.txt) which is known as Simple Paged LDAP Search Results?

Subject: doesn’t look like this is native

I did a quick search on support:http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21216628

and found:

"refer to the technote titled “Which RFCs Does LDAP Support? (#1199685 http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21199685), and to the Domino Administrator Help topic “RFCs supported by the LDAP service”.”

Neither of those lists show RFC2696, so it doesn’t look like this is supported natively. However, in another Admin help doc, I see that it is supposed to be possible to use a third-party LDAP for authentication (version 6), so that may be another solution that would allow you to use Simple Page Search Results if you so desired.

I know nothing else about it, but maybe that will give you somewhere to start.

It should be noted that RFC2696 states “It does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.”
