Does anyone know what this notes.ini variable does?

FILE_RETENTION_DAYS=365

i can’t find any documents about it!

can it be that it has to do with transactionlogs, because our transactionlogs do not get cleaned up after a full backup.

we’re using legato networker and archive style logging.

Any suggestions anyone?

Nope, but it’s been added to my servers’ INI files too with the install of 6.5. My guess is that it’s for the retention of NSD dump log files.

I went thru the signup on that site just to see “Fault Recovery Options: Description Pending” ?? (You couldn’t have typed that in your post easily enough?) anyhow, if anyone does find out what FILE_RETENTION_DAYS is for, I’d like ot know as well. Can’t find anything on R6 or R4/5 Forums or on support.
