Does any one know why toolbar button is not visible in Lotus Notes? Does any one know how to add formula to the Outline Entry?

Hi,

I am successfully able to add Outline Entry in Universal toolbar of Lotus notes Bookmark.nsf file. But when I launch Lotus Notes and enabled universal toolbar, the button is not visible in Lotus Notes universal toolbar. I also wanted to put formula to the same button.

Does any one know why that button is not visible in Lotus Notes toolbar? Does any one know how to add formula to the Outline Entry (toolbar button) using Lotus Notes designer or any programmatic way other than OutlineEntry’s SetAction method?

Subject: Toolbar outline entries are not like regular outline entries.

The regular Notes API isn’t able to set the toolbar button formula and some other things about it. However, if you create a toolbar button manually, then you can use the NotesOutline class to copy the entry and insert it into other outlines.

Note however that it’s kind of old, and I’m not sure how well it works with 8.5.
