This is weird - has any one encountered this
You go into a view
And select 12 records
And Print
And select print selected documents
Then Notes delivers N documents to the printer where N is any number less than the number you selected, in this case 12. And there is no pattern in determining what documents get ignored. And it happens at several diferent clients.
It happens on three applications - What is common is that they all inherit their design from the same template but this may be a red herring
Any ideas?
Subject: Documents Selected and Printed dont all print
To ask the basic question, are there actually 12 documents? A view can show the same document multiple times if the column for a multiple value field is set to “Show Multiple values as seperate entries”
The tip off would be to select 1 document at a time. When you click on one of the documents you will suddently see multiple check marks appearing.
So it looks like you have 12 document selected (12 check marks) but in reality you have less than 12 documents

No these are 12 unique documents.I solved the one problem (which turned out to me a MicroSheep problem) with delivering these records and parsing them through a label template to print labels.
The other problem is still with us. In all my 18 years of developing Notes applications I have never seen anything like this.
I have been toying with the idea of running fixup against these applications.
Subject: Theres More
I have just replicated the Clients Databases to my server and I tried to replicate the problem with the printing.
It works perfectly on our server.

is your view categorized? Perhaps oneor more documents falls under more than 1 category so you think you are selecting more documents than you actually are. Just a thought.
