Document showing in view but have no access to open document

I have a problem with documents showing in a veiw that people cannot actually open.

There are 4 readers fields on the document, one readAll, the other for specific groups.

The test person is in one of the groups that show up in one of the readers fields, and can see the documents in the view that he has permissin to but when he tries to open the document it wants him to log back in.

If I give the test person the “readAll” role he can then open a document he couldn’t before, but of course I don’t want to give everyone that role.

There are no author fields on the form, and the form is not stored with the docuemnt.

Any Ideas???

There is a view component to the URL for a document. Does the user have permission to use the view specified in the URL?

Thanks but I figured it out.

As it happens the problem is - there is a field on the form that is trying to read another field on an other form that the user does not have access too.
