We’ve upgraded to server version 8.5.2.Since then we’ve problems with document security in different databases.
If you deselect “All readers and above”, you have about one second to click to one reader. If you don’t choose a reader in this period, you’ll get the message “You are not authorized” and the document disappears.
First: How can we get access to our hidden documents (which are still there but not visible)?
Second: Is this a problem of our own written databases? We’ve never had problems before …
…it’s a good idea to always have a role in a readers field that has access to the documents. At the very least you can go to an administrator with the role,‘[Admin]’ for instance, that can reset the reader info w/o the worry of having to go into FAA mode to retrieve the document. Granted, of course, it’s okay for Admins to see the docs in question.
