Document locking - web app

I would like to utilize the document locking functionality on a web app I’ve developed, and have done so at the database level. Based on what I’ve read, it should work, but I guess I’m missing something.

What else do I need to do so one user gets prompted on a web app if another person is already in a document? It appears to work like a charm in the Notes client.

The Notes Client has this functionality built into it. You’ll have to code the equivalent into your forms to tell the web browser client what to do.

For example, webqueryopen event to check for the doc being locked … and a js event to check for the document being closed with/out saving.
