Document Locking Question

Hi,

In notes6 the new feature Locking document when 2 or more people try to access the same document at the sametime. This is good so that we can get rid of save conflicts. Problem is we are having hardware auction database, when customers try to bid the item, they opens the document for bidding and they will never close that (smart behaviour), so it is not allowing other people to bid on this. We need to know how to come over this problem , Can anybody suggest us to fix this? This is very urgent we have another auction early next week. Please help us.

Yes it has been discussed but with not even one satisfactory solution i think therefore it is worth discussing more.

Document locking appiles when editing a document. It should not be an issue in your scenario.

plus. Domino is NOT the right tool for this, espeacially if this is web based.
