We have a problem with a database with enabled document locking that is used on 2 servers.
UserA has author- rights on the database and he is in an author- field of certain documents via application- role [EditAll], that is directly assigned to him in the acl (not via group)
As soon as a user works on a server that is not the master lock server, he is not able to edit documents anymore after opening them in the frontend.
A button @Command([EditDocument]) does not do anything, as well as doubleclick or Strg + E
If the same user does a Strg + E on view- level, then the document opens in edit- mode and everything is fine.
The same user opening the same document on the master lock server does not have the problem.
As soon as I disable “Enable document locking” in the database- properties, everything works as a charme again (but of course without the protection of document locking).
all Servers are 8.0.2, Client is 8.5
All servers know each other, using connection documents.
