I’m trying to lock documents when opening in browser and unlock on close. This works good, normally. But sometimes a document is locked by two users and therefore it can’t be unlocked. Now the document can’t be deleted even by an administrator. So how can I delete the document or remove the $writers and $writersdate fields?

This bug has just been identified and fixed. I am not sure what release the fix has been submitted to but I have notified the developer of this post. He may be out for the holiday break however.
