Document count differs across clusters

HiLately, we have noticed a lot of mail files with different document counts between the 2 clustered servers. We have about 400 mail files and this is happening to about 150 of them.

Simplest way to resolve is to clear the replication history but why does it happen in the first place?

We also schedule replication hourly to catch any problems but this hasn’t solved it either. Cluster analysis doesn’t really show anything, the ACL’s are correct and the same on both replicas so I’m a but stumped.

Has anyone else seen this type of issue?

Thanks

Mark.

just as an update - does a compact remove all deletion stubs?? I thought it did but notespeek shows there are some left. Could this be the problem?

Hi,

a few possibles causes.

Not enough cluster replicators.

Problems with replication history.

Or Copy OS style.

Also, you have to check you quotas because it doesn’t replicate

By the way, i have built a db to monitor clusters dbs (Mail) to have a warning when documents differs accross clusters, if the quotas differs, are busted, etc.
