A user gets this weird issue. Clicking on a doclink in an email, does not open the required document on Notes client. All it does is open Notes client workspace (if not already open). And if the database (to which the doclink belongs) is open, then the link just directs to the opened database view (not the actual document). I however am able to open the same link on my system without any issues. Any ideas?

It means it’s a link to a document with a reader field that the user cannot see, or in a view that the user cannot open

There is no readers field on the document. Nor is the view inaccessible by the user. Infact, copy pasting the same link source on Notes address bar, opens the required document. It is only that clicking on the link on the email does nothing. Maybe I am missing something.

This can happen if there is no default view specified for the database.
