Distributing user ID files

When a new ID is created, it is mailed (along with password) to a support person to install Notes on the appropriate user machine. This means that the support person can accumulate numerous people’s IDs/pswd on their machines… this opens up a big security issue.

How do others avoid this issue? I appreciate any advice on this.

Subject: Distributing user ID files

We store original ID files on a network share and use a Notes policy that requires users to change their password at first login. We also use ID recovery, along with the CA process, to handle password recovery.
